View Full Version : Coming back, mod near Evansville?

Well, it's been almost six months since the "wreck" that put my car out of commission: I went over some train tracks on the way to one of my Fraternity's parties, and shattered my X-Treme front bumper. After that, I took the air ride off and pretty much lost all will to continue to mod the Cougar (http://www.cougardb.com/car.php?id=Neale).

Since summer is being so kind as to getting bank for work, and freeing up a lot of extra time. I'll be putting back on the Air Ride, buying some wheels, and replacing the front bumper, among other minor things. I'll also be dabbling into performance. With that, is there anyone around Evansville (within 100 or so miles), that can assist in some minor mod work: gutting precats, lengthening wires to a light control bracket, and installing a CAI? I can compensate with lunch/dinner/payment if desired :)

Also, anyone interested in forming a caravan here in southern Indiana for Cougarfest?

hey Neale I thought you had disappeared for good. Let me know if you want to go to Jason's meet or cougarfest and we can caravan up together.

That'd be absolutely groovy. Yeah, that wreck was kind of disheartening...well, hopefully I'll be making the meet in June. I should have the money to remodify what was lost by then. If not, I can always drive the busted ride up there :)

how did you wreck your car?

I was on the way to one of my Fraternity's parties, and it was dark outside. I didn't see some train tracks, and I had the air ride set to about 80psi. When I went over the tracks, the car slammed down, shattering my X-Treme front bumper. Now my car is pushing a stock front around. I was thinking about getting a lip kit, or a new bumper that doesn't ride as low (stock height), after I pay to get my X1 fenders and air ride put back on, which hopefully will be before the June 11th meet.
