I'm still trying to get the car ready. Right now...I have no interior panels in the car or nitrous bottle. It all been pulled for the audio install. If we get it done I'll be there W/ the Coug. If it isn't completed...I'm going to try to attend...just won't have my baby there

The best is when cops mistake your car for an eclipse and are out lookin for a red eclipse. It's happened to me. Good times, but if anyone's attendin, let me know, I'm gonna feel lost as this is my first show.

When I had the Ford badge on the back ofthe Coug I was ticketed as a ZX2.
Slammin and Jammin is looking slim. I still have no interior panels on Friday Morning. Not to mention the detailing hasn't been started yet and I'm sitting on my butt in front of the computer.

Well it took us ALL day and into the night but we got the front end done and a false floor in the back so I'll be there if it doesn't friggin RAIN
I just came in from detailing the interior by flashlight

You just detailed your interior? What was there to clean? I didn't see a spec of dirt on your car while it was in the shop. The rain is supposed to have passed us by 9:00am. I'll be at the show as a spectator. My g/f's son wants to go pretty bad.

The interior was dusty and had guite a bit if funk in the floorboards. It hadn't been touched since Nopi last year. Vacumed, clean the windows and dusted it...used this new foam protectant from Meguiars. If you don't like the real shiny stuff...it ROCKS covers very well with no greasy look.
The only problem I had is I forgot to tighten the nitrous feed line when we reinstalled the bottle. I opened the valve at the show to show off and sprung a MAJOR nitrous leak in the back. Luckally I didn't hurt anything.
I'm going to try to get some pix Sunday

We ended up placing 2nd in the Ford Mild class. I was suprised when I found out I was classed in such as huge group and I still placed top 3.
Not to shabby for a car that up until Friday morning had no interior panels from the doors to the hatch.
As a team Precision Motoring took home my 2nd place, 1 first place USACi troply in sound quality, one best of show in USACi sound quality, 3 cars picked for the Falken Ultimate 10, 1st place for the NSX, 2nd place with a Supra...that should have taken 1st easy.
(word of advice..when you go to a show..run through the judging lanes as early as possible don't sign up for special "team judging" Those were some TIRED judges by the time they go our area)
Tired...sunburned and HUNGRY...I'll try to get some pics linked up Monday.

That show was awesome. I was surprised that there was such a variance of vehicles. From old school lowriders to red neck 4x4s to luxury sports cars. Congrats on your 2nd place finish. I have no clue how the judges categorized everything. All the vehicles seemed to be placed at random. An Escalade parked by an Olds w/hydros and a Supra on the other side.

The classing was WAY off this year. They let you park just about anywhere you want...then they class your car when you get judged. The club judging IMO is what screwed everything up. The judges seemed rushed through everything when they got to our area. They put on a excellent show...so I think they'll get it down my Mini Truckin Nats in Sept.
I have no idea what was 1st place in the Ford class. I saw a couple of clean Foci...and a few Mustangs, but they didn't say what the car was when they announced the awards.
That's OK...I'm not donw with the audio yet. I think it'll make the difference
