6cyl trailblazer vs 6Cyl Jeep..40 mph roll to 55 mph. Both with Matching honda Civic intakes cut and bent to fit.....my friend with the jeep and i got bored one day at his shop, spent $60 total for both intakes and filters, we used his tools to bend them and cut them...i figure i will leave it on for at least a month. We were both just seeing what..if any affect they have....sound wise not performance. From the roll he got a jump on the gas and i figured out exactly how slow my automatic is to figure out the gas pedal has been pressed. My trailblazers front was at his front door....very even....just thought i would share.

Yeah, i don't know how the trailblazer would compare when taking pics....not quite a beautiful coug....or sweet wrx....i just can't leave anything alone, and i will be damned if i let there be pathways leading to nowhere...aka silencers...i will try to come to a meet soon so you can see the pollen-covered trailblazer and the wonderful bootleg intake i made.

We reraced recently from 40 to 60 with me manually shifting my atx (think Bobby) and beat him....my atx is sooo sloowww to downshift....eh its all the fun i can have in the trailblazer

I had a 91 cherokee with the 4.0L I-6 5-speed... that thing doesn't have that high of torque, but man, i used to roast people off the line. I think it's about 190hp and 205ft-lb or something like that. I am sure the trailblazer would take it no problem on the highway though. Jeeps aren't exactly geared for high speed... I was spend by about 80-85, but getting there was a blast. I am also talking bone stock. I want another SO bad too... 263,000 miles on the original tranny and 213,000 on the rebuilt motor (because of a ticking noise, it got serviced under the warantee right before expiration). I can't say enough about how great those motors are.

I put a grand cherokee t/b on my 99 Cherokee with a t/b spacer and a intake that i made from a cavalier. Gave it alot more for those off-roadin days
