window tint

hey guys, im movin over to columbia in august and was thinkin about gettin my windows tinted before i came. i live in atlanta where currently there is no tint law, but i dont want to get in trouble when i come over there. I was wondering what the SC tint laws were and how anal are the cops???

but the leagl limit is 35%

Limit in SC is 27% for the front. They don't care about the rest of the car. And to be honest.. I have SEVERAL friends with 15% all around and none of them have gotten in trouble yet...

haha yeah that'll do it. see i wish it was the same there as it wa shere, i could just get tint all around, my neighbor even tinted his front windsheild. haha

oh well i think ill just go with 15% on sides and back, tell me if anyone think this would be too much of a problem in columbia?

Anthonlogy I live in Columbia for 5 years and Ive had my 5% tint on for 2 years and have never been stopped for it and I drive a Rio Red Cougar so you should be fine with that 5%

Well Kenny I was debating on keeping my car or not so Ive been in and out of deciding on whether to get a new car but I love my Cougar too much, so this summer if the funds are right I might finally put alot of work into my car! But I did graduate last summer so that was the biggest thing to happen!

I am up here in the G'boro area and was wondering if I could get away with the 35 on the fron and 25 on the back... There really is no way for them to check the back right?
