Last friday I get out of school and my dad takes me to go look at cars. We went Art Hill in Merriville. SO we were looking at some Mazda3's and go inside to look at how much we could get one for. My dad was supposed to get some kinda deal because he knows the owner or what not. So the salesman gets my 99' cougar appraised. The trade-in value: $3200. Kinda low, so my dad says that we'd take it over to carmax and see what they would give as a trade-in. He wasn't looking to buy a car that day. So as we walk out of the building, we see another salesman standing next to my car with his hands up says "Hey guys you cant leave yet." I was thought he was joking around, until I asked why. Then he informed us that he had just hit my car. Seems he pulled up to park behind me and fro m what he said "he put it in park, and the accelerator was stuck." He was using a dealer demo car, so it was the dealers fault. I attached a picture of what it woulda looked like, I didn't have a camera on me at the time. I look at the back of my car, the bumper is just messed up, the salesman even told us that it was pushed 3 feet forward. It was a bad sight, but all i could do was laugh. So the sales manager comes out and just stares at it for like 5 minutes, talks to my dad and walks inside. More time passes, he comes back and we get $4500 on the trade-in for my car and I get a new car. I got an 2004 Arctic White MTX Mazda3 with 40 miles on it. So with the trade-in and rebates i got the car for about 11,500 off from 18,300. It was a crazy day.

I'm not sure what they will do with my old car, maybe scrap it, it'll cost alot to repair. You could possibly try callin the dealership and asking about it.
