Hi everyone...
Why is everyone like being quiet and stuff??
2 beautiful days in a row, and no posts about it...soooo saddddd
I had some good quality driving today and yesterday, plus bought my car a few presents for the nice weather. She's very happy now...
So how's everyone doing out there in NJNECO land...?????

that's because we were all outside enjoying it!
Seriously, I've been outside more in the past few days than I have been all winter. It was great finally cruising with the windows down and the sunroof open. But now it appears to be raining :(

Agreed, especially about the driving around just with the windows and sunroof open...
the rain does suck a lot now though :(... good weather to come though = a clean cougar and lots of fun
We should get something going on though, it could be a lot of fun.

I just added some go-fast mods and I can't even test it out...
Then comes some handling mods...hopefully it'll be sunny then.
Either way, this forum was getting toooooo quiet for me, so I figured I'd stir it up in here.

Ive actually been working alot for a change.. Like only sitting at my desk for like 10 minutes a day.. So I had no time to post about the great weather!
But with all this work, I got a big bonus check comming.. so Ill be doing some upgrades myself.. Not to sure what I want yet though.
Car mods vs. Quad... Hmmm?

Quad???? useless waste of money...
Buy stuff for the car, or put money into an account for your's and your family's future...
Quad + hole in ground = accident + Medical bills + payments on busted quad + money to fix it = LOSER ;)
make your car faster or better, or nothing at all...

Make car faster is good.. but not being able to use it is bad.
Quad ='s off road fun with little chance that the popo can give you a ticket or you kill somebody else. Just as dangerous as a fast car.
No need for payments on a 5000 buck quad :)

Quad = 10X more dangerous than a fast car, since it's bought to do dangerous things
Quad = Fines if caught driving anywhere other than land you or a firend owns... BIG FINES
Quad = Need for a trailer to get it from point A to Point B
Quad = Need for extra garage
Quad = Damn, man you're too old for a quad ;)
Just tryin to keep this thread goin

Trail riding is 100x's safer than driving down the street during rush hour in a car. No motocrossing for me.
Fines for driving a car too fast can be much more than getting caught with a quad off road... Looseing license for 6 months would be worse than a couple hundred buck fine for quad riding.
I plan on buying a old pickup truck or something for hauling it around. No trailer.. plus this would be usefull as I seem to move every year or so :)
My garage will fit a quad and my car easily.. or the shed im getting to fill my huge back yard! hehehe
Age aint but a number... but this reason is your best yet! ;)

Little tip from me to you.....dont ride the quad through a corn field, the leaves will cut ya plenty good.
Since its getting nice, hypothetically speaking, with everyones logic of "well hang out more once withs warm." This could mean we will all actually hang out sometime! :flushed:

And about quads being more dangerous than a car...I still really don't know toomany people that were not injured in one way or another on a quad. Plus for the price for amount of use it'll get, I just don't see it.
You drive everyday...enjoy your drive...
If money was no object, then a quad may be atad more feasible...I just still don't think it's that cool.
I say buy a chopper or other cruiser bike...still dangerous, but more useful in my eyes. You could actually go from pt a to pt b on a bike. I'll buy a bike one day. I already know which one I want. Too bad it's ridiculously pricey.

a street bike is the most dangerous on the list..and only rideable 3/4 of the year.. A quad, though not used everyday can be used in any weather and any season.. Makes it more fun that way actually. I would never buy a street bike for one reason... Other drivers on the road. More than half of all accidents on streetbikes are caused by drivers in automobiles.
no mode of transportation is not a waste of money in some way or another.. Its what makes you happy I guess.. I love messing with my car, getting more HP and stuff like that, but never being able to really open it up unless going to a track day or something sucks. I dont want to compete in the 1/4 mile or the autocross.. I want to just go out and [censored] around then go home. A quad seems the best bet for that.
Anyway, I wish I had my house, Id have a meet next weekend or whatever.. but im not back in yet so it will be a little while.. I really want to have you all over to chill.. but im up for a meet soon. The next 2 weekends will be bad for me, but after that I should be ready for something. We should goto that park we went to last time or something like that. That will keep the party atmosphere down since we will be in a public place that probably doesnt allow alcohol anyway.

I'm here. I'm now Frito Lay's Training Coordinator. (I got promoted). I now pre-screen possible canidates for hire, run training classes, keep DOT files in check, certify new employees, and lots of other boring jazz. I'm responsible for these duties in Toms River, Mamora, Burlington, and Vineland.
Frito's been rocking with Star Wars stuff. Its been fun.

Does anybody remember that park we had one of our first meetings at? I remember it was a bit of a drive for me, but I have no clue on where I went now.
Maybe a ride up to Sandy Hook or down to LBI.. lets do this before the BENNYs come!

I remember that park...
That was the day I got Priscilla to find the hole...that hot little thing she was. Ethan and I also spoke about our experiences going down to virginia, and about the warm moist climate, BUSH gardens and how clean it was, etc...
That was good times ;)

That meet was indeed most memorable. Keep in mind when going to Virginia make sure its not raining cause it sure can get slippery and ya might just slide right in :biggrin: Please do not forget the discussion about men with nipple rings and what it infers :rofl:
Weather looks to be shaping up really nice. I'm definitely down for a park meet or something. Just get some food, people, and we'll talk about how we used to be active and have a good time.
By the way....anyone know how Pappa Hooven is doing?

I was with the fam going out to Flemington, was on rt 29 in Lambertville, then off onto some other road and then into Flemington...I waved hi to the entire town of lambertville...but no one responded :(

Well...I no longer live in Marlboro...we moved.
I'm now in mercer county, so I went backroads, and took 95 to 29, however realized a better way home, and too rt 31 towards trenton, then onto 206 by Rider, I95, Rt 1 and home...only like 45 min if that.
I'm now like 20 min from the quaker bridge mall.
We went to the outlets in flemington...buy some clothes-like things... ;)
