I am from the Motor Cities chapter and was wondering if anyone could post some pics or give me some input about the Roush rear and how/where the s-pipe(s) attach to. I have the true borla exhaust and would like to get the rear painted/installed in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for any input or pics!

i believe the only people who would have the s-pipe you are talking about are people who a true roush...
i think everyone that bougt the piece aftermarket has had to go back to a shop to get it adjusted (at least thats what i did)...

Hey... that Roush Rear is quite nice! Guess I will go with the rear too... But I will probably get it integrated into the rear bumper.

Hey Joe, you know your Tail pipes aren't centered right! :cover:

Smitty, I have the Borla exhaust and a roush rear on mine. We chopped the Y-pipe down a good few inches and I believe we also had to weld some new flanges on to get it to hang properly. It's a complete pain and I did it maybe 2 or 3 years ago so I don't remember all of the exact details. The problem also arises that the tips can be a little crooked pretty easily, you can ask anyone in Empire who's followed my ass around.

Ken's right. It can be very hard to get the tips to sit right. Just look at the pictures a few posts up. Thats my old car. After 3 or 4 trips to the exhaust shop, thats the best we could do. I'm sure we could have gotten them a bit better, but I just didnt care.

on mine, the pipes had to be cut a few inches, and also, the angle of the y split at the back had to be altered by welding, and then some buckles were used to tie it to the hangars so the height could be adjusted...but it was a very custom job...i will try to take some pics today to show you guys what i'm talking about...
