I have beaten The newer Civic Si's. Unless they have a good driver and some modifications, they aren't that much faster than a Cougar

go for it... I beat them with 2 subs and a passenger in my car! :P
I have a buddy with an SIR (si to you guys) with type R cams, cat back and headers.... he pulls even with me. Before the cams I would beat him off the line and everytime, but the type r cams do make the diff with his vtec kicks in. Other then that go for it!

whell.. i raced the civic tonight.. and we put 100 down on it .. lets just say after 6-8 car lengths i was laughing so hard that i had to slow down..

we made a nutral party hold the cash before the race.. so that couldn't happen and ya i am from ohio..

its funny when someone talks up their car, then backs down due to "transmission issues" etc when i offer to race for cash. one kid told me he "didnt want to embarass me and take my money" as an excuse. what a queerbait.
