BAD weekend

okay, so i have never gotten a speeding ticket or nething since i have had my license. But this past weekend on friday, i was kinda late to go to work, so i was kind of speeding(23 over to be exact) and i got pulled over and all that, which i can understand because 23 over is a decent speed. but then the next day my g/f and i were driving through a town called bull valley( if anybody lives around mchenry or crystal lake and has gone through bull valley, u know wut im talking about) and we had just gotten in my car so we didnt have our seat belts on yet, and a cop sees us, pulls me over, and gives both of us tickets which is kind of understandable. But he doesent stop there. He looks at my exhaust(trubendz flowmaster dual) and asks me if that was stock and i said no, and he writes me a ticket for a modified exhaust which is totall b/s. and he doesent even stop there, he looks at my front end and sees that there was no license plate on the bumper( it was on the dash b/c i had recently gotten hit in my school parking lot and the bracket was broken) so he gives me a ticket for that. So yea i can understand the speeding ticket from the night b4 and the not wearing seat belts but i mean cmon, does he really have to be that much of a jerk... oh yea i forgot he's bull valley. So everybody, stay away from bull valley if ur in the mchenry county area.

Bull Valley is one of the worst places to try and drive through. The only place I can think of that is any worse than that is hainesville. I know the bull valley area quite well from when I worked at the hospital in Mchenry and also at the hospital in woodstock (same company). Bull valley is real bad about that stuff. Sorry to hear about that man. Next time go around I do everytime

Shorewood, Illinois is notoriously bad for giving speeding tickets / tickets for anything also.

when i got pulled over last monday 2 in da mourning for my neon in my grill da cop was pretty koo about it he asked me when was the last time i got a tickect i say about 2 years ago and he walked around my car lookin to see if i had anything illegal. he asked me about my exhaust i told him it was factory:) he looked and smiled and told me not to have the neons on while drivin and let me go. Mount Prospect cops are pretty cool around here. but sorry u got all those tickets

That sucks man. I hate cops like that that give the good police a bad name.

I hate to say it, but try and get a lawyer to go to Court with you... You should be able to get a first offense speeding ticket on supervision so it doesn't go on your license... (and thus, not effect your insurance rates)... and you might be able to get those other tickets reduced or eliminated... especially the exhaust ticket. An aftermarket exhaust is not illegal by itself. It has to be loud enough to be heard 2 blocks away or something like that. And while I know the Flowmasters are loud... they aren't that loud.

NO offense but if it is illegal, then youre SOL. Officers can do that. I know it doesnt sound fair but thats the way it works.Was it a trooper/sheriff/city? About the exhasut being loud, i know WI is diff then your laws but it it is louder than stock, it is illegal... Let me know what happens with this im interested but more likely than not it wont be worth takin it to court with a lawyer.
