Anyone selling a tasteful body kit these days? I think this summer I'll finally do some cosmetic mods. Since I want it FOR the summer season, I'll probably do this stuff pretty soon.
in your opinion, what's the most tasteful kit?
Adjectives I'm looking for are: subtle, cool, sinister, low, tasteful, factory, spoilerless black G35 coupe with dark tint, and deep-dish wheels. ;)
Adjectives I run from are: 2F2F, catfish-mouth, primer, loud, high-rise, etc.
Thanks for your opinions. Pics are welcome.
Massiv.

I dont know why ppl hate this front but your car I think a DragonZ front ,sides-maybe millinum or razzi, and back maybe roush  not to sure about the back
If you want subtle, you have 3 choices, maybe 4. Wings West, Roush, Visteon or Razzi. All 4 of those are simple add-ons to your stock bumpers and require no fitting and customizing.
If it were me, i'd go with the Roush kit and a Visteon front...wait...I already did that once!

I'd deffinetly say roush or wings west.
I personally like the wings west front with roush rear and sides, i think it looks nice and smooths.
Only problem is the roush stuff is hard to find and rather expensive.

My personal taste is roush....but I also have it :)
if you want something that will look sweet, and not have weight, go for the carbon fiber visteon kit craig is making, it should be out in about 3 weeks. Light weight, can take a beating, and looks hot. Add to that a CF hood and you have a sweet setup.

Since your car is black....if you have the $$....I'd go this route...
This hood :):) (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=11&threadid=118234) (Cougar 's' hood)
With This kit...but in Carbon Fiber here. (http://www.cougardb.com/car.php?id=Seth) (visteon)
sweet look, simple fitment, functional hood, light weight, hard to break....and HOT as hell on a black car!

I have to agree with Dan about everything except the sides on that black cougar.

I'm the say as you, I hate all these nasty looking big body kits and huge wings. Keep it clean and simple. I say go with the Roush kit. I've always like it. Nice, clean, simple, it looks like it came from the factory that way.
BTW, this post is not intended to insult anyone with one of those big, ugly, nasty looking, Ricer Body Kits!

Another Roush fanboy here!
The only two alternatives I would suggest if you have the money to spend would be the Stoffler kit or the No Limit kit from Europe...

Thanks for all the good info, guys. I'll take a look around for Roush or Visteon. Pretty sure I'll go with the Visteon front. NOT the Visteon sides though. They look like wings! Just dunno about the sides. Probably no rear either, unless I get it blended into the bumper.
Thanks!!
Dan.
If you only do front and sides the rear will look REALLY odd. I wouldn't suggest it. ;)

I'd get the stoffler If I could do it again. I saw one in the "For Sale" Section already painted black, and its been there for a while so I'm sure you could negotiate.

the stoffler kit is hard to "negotiate" the price that seller has listed looks high, but the shipping on that puppy was a killer when he bought it. The whole kit was shipped from Germany :)
