Scheduled Maintenace Guide for 2000 model year calls for fluid change (both MTX/ATX) at 150,000 miles (241,402 km).
i did mine at 100,000 miles (161,000 km) and i'll do it again at 200,000 miles.

If your transmission fluid has a bad smell and/or has lost it's nice clear red color it is time to change.. mileage depends on the type of fluid that was installed and the use it has received. (Over heating the Transmission is a killer). When you do get around to changing it, for long mileage and better performance, switch to a synthetic lubricant such as AMSOIL "ATF" ..;)

I flushed mine at 30,000 miles. I don't know the convertion to KM, sorry.
It was wore out. My car is a daily driver, I never race and except for a little fun once in a while I'm pretty easy on my car. The fluid was a very, very dark red and it smelled awful. Both signs of tranny fluid that is wore out.
I'm not going to do a flush again though. To much of a pain. I'm just going to drain the pan every 15,000 miles and add the 4 quarts.

Hi!
1 mile is approx 1.6 km.
30,000 miles is approx 48,000.
To get an approximative km->miles conversion you can multiply by 0.6...
Have a nice day!
Nick
PS: There are sites on the web that can do the conversion for you...

Synthetic and semi-synthetic fluids like mercon V do not break down from heat nearly to the extent of traditional fluids. Since heat breakdown is the principal cause of wear in a transmission, the logic is that these fluids don't breakdown as readily and therefore result in less transmission wear. Since I am not a fan of ford transmissions, I use mercon V and still change the fluid every 50k.

Copied off my website
KM = miles / .62

How often should I change my MTX fluid?
Any non-synthetic gear oil or any ATF should be changed every 1 year / 15k miles.
Any synthetic gear oil should be changed every 2 years / 30k miles.
If you really do not drive your car “hard” you could likely extend the intervals 50%. You folks need to get with the program though. =D
Either way it’s not very expensive and fresh fluid always makes the syncros happy. Not too mention that preventive maintenance is always a good idea.
