Yeah!!

Sometimes, especially for us in big urban settings where 24/7 traffic is a way of life, you forget about this beast you built. Other times, like today, you're somehow able to BREAK FREE, and the car just PULLS! You blow by other sportscars, and you find yourself saying stupid things to yourself while driving like "This car's power is just SICK!"

Today was that day for me... Wow. This thing just PULLS! It's ridiculous how well it's driving these days. And with the summer rubber back on, the handling performance is phenomenal. I swear, this car just pulls and pulls and pulls... Throttle response, turn-in crispness, LSD handling through low traction on/off ramps, winding it out to the seven-thousand-something redline... Great stuff.

You guys know what I mean? Find yourself having a day like that every now and then when you're just amazed by your ride?

Just had to write... had a great day on the roads out there today!!

I got my motor this past Wednesday, finally! Port work starts in a week and I'll hopefully have my car running again with 3.0 power in a month or so.

I let a friend of mine take the 3L SVT out for a spin Saturday and he couldn't beleive the amount of power it had. He recently lost all his cars in a fire and I think he found a car that he may want to pick up now. I'm working on another 3L SVT Contour right now. :)

Sweetness. I saw your friend's stable on fire! OUCH! I feel seriously bad for the guy. His prized possessions... lost. Hope insurance doesn't screw him...

Hahaa.... why yes! But rather than have people raise the BS flag... I keep some to myself. That said, I barely race it anymore. Too many people get hurt that way, and I think it's starting to weigh on me after all this time...

Haha... It's true... That 911 I beat last weekend was BS! ;) What is also true, is that I just don't really race it too much anymore. If I do, it has to follow certain ground rules. NO passengers, in their car or mine. Emptyish roads. No residential areas, or areas where people might be crossing, etc. Nothing excessive. You know who's winning pretty quickly. Sounds boring, but it's just not worth it anymore...

Hey Demon... You going to roll by CougarFest by any chance?
