i got a phone call my from my credit card company they were wondering why my ss number is no long in my name. it comes back to a "jamie" i dont know a jamie. my bank ran my ss number with all 3 major credit bureau (Experian, Equifax or Transunion) and it all came back as my ss number belonging to a "jamie" I asked for the new address that was listed as i turn aroun reach into my closet and grabbed my 20 guage. they said they cant give that to me but that i need to call the 3 credit bureau's and report identity theft. does anyone have a phone number to get ahold of the credit bureau fraud department? thanks
also i filed a report with my local police department they are doing a background check on me right now to see if my drivers license has been used. i already know i gotta sort through my 4 page long driving record and see if there are any citations there that arent mine. i never thought i would ask to have a background check ran on myself. they asked me if i ever had my wallet stolen i said no... then they asked me if anything paperwork with my ss number on it was out of possesion at anytime. i had think think for a second and the only time i can think of is everytime i go to canada and get pulled into inspections they take my birth certificate out of my site then bring it back to me later (you know how they do it)....but it does make me wonder. :confused: the cop told me to also go ahead and do this now go to the social security office and have them flag me so no more new credit cards can be taken out in my name. does anyone know where the hell the closest social security office is? this "jamie" is going to get [censored]ed up if i catch him/her. thanks again
its been a [censored] week. i order parts for my car 2 weeks ago for my repair and there all still not here yet from japan and now this :(
