The plastic covers on my headlights are looking like they are 5 years old...which...they are. The plastic is looking pretty crappy on the inside. I imagine the HID kit I got this winter will only make it worse.
Will the headlights survive for ANY time at all without the plastic outer housing? I'm thinking removal and painting is in the near future

you will pit the sh!t out of your reflectors...not to mention the rest of the housing isnt sealed so any water/ mist you pass through will get into the guts of your lights and rust em out.

i have seen it done in pics of that coug in europe..but i think that was show only lights..not sure though...

all in all not a good idea for a daily driver although it does look wicked sweet..

I've been able to get a Rodeo to drive around for work...so the Coug has become my toy now. My only problem is I'm afraid that the plastic itself is deteriorating. I don't know if I can clean it up or not. I've never had them apart, could there be some kind of small plastic cover placed just over the projectors themselves?
(PS...Hannah is a doll...congrats)
