ok first of all everyone it's been way to long! so much has happened and i miss you all! and to all you new folks i look forward to meeting you!
Ethan is now 14 months old and he's stronger and faster then ever. he's so adorable! I got laid off at baxter which would explain my absence as i was scrambling for a new job trying to pay the bills and keep up with mine and nicole's crazy schedules! not to mention taking Ethan to and from the babysitter in between interviews and all that junk! so now i have a new job. i build 35-50 meter long cement conveyor belt trucks from the bare chassis up, in sturtevant wi.
Nicole is 3 months pregnant with our second child. yes it's very exciting and also ooops! so were trying to prep for that! the Cobra is fixed for those who remember the effingham debacle.
i've been using any spare moment possible to work on my cougar. and while those moments have been few i have managed to strip the whole car. she's currently down to the bare metal. all body panels have been removed. interior has been gutted. she'll be in primer hopefully by this weekend. i still have the drift kit. although it has to be repaired because the body shop botched up the molding real bad.
a glimpse into the future: the drift kit will be repaired, and re-installed. i'm maybe gonna shave the rear wiper. i love having a rear wiper so i havn't decided. were frenching the door handles. shaving the mercury emblem on the trunk. the car is gonna get a Dupont chroma black base coat with House of Kolor blue to green pearl if everything works out right. if anyone knows of a visteon rear wing for sale let me know. if i can avoid custom painting a spoiler twice i'd like to! were also hoping to paint the interior to match the exterior! any thoughts oppinions or suggestions are very welcome! i hope to see you all soon!
