View Full Version : I need Apexi SAFC?
I have installed a Trubendz exhaust system, Trubendz "no cat" Y-pipe and INJEN short Ram air Intake.
I think to buy an Apexi SAFC. Really be worth pay the money that cost it? Sorry, I donīt speak English very well.
if I will install the SAFC, will gain I some hp ? and work it well?
Thanks

You can dyno tune your A/F ratio with an S-AFC.
Figure $250ish for the S-AFC and another $100ish for the dyno.
And, I gain real Hp gain with the Apexi S-AFC? all time?

You gain as much as can be tuned on the dyno.
The more your A/F is off to start with the more you gain.

I actually just purchased one because i found it for a great price but i dont really have any other engine mods done yet except for a short ram intake so it almost seems kind of pointless to get it tuned because each time i modify something i will have to get it tuned again. What modifications can i do that would be associated with the SAFC controller that would really help out?

Tru-bendz Cat-back
Optimized Y-pipe
Those should be at the top of the list.
After that comes pieces like:
SVT TB
SVT UIM

Invest in an FJO Wideband (w/ datalogger) or similar and learn how to tune yourself :)
