Well, since I didn't have anything to do, I decided to work on my demon eyes, again. Let me tell you these things are figgen bright! (I replaced a ring that wasn't as bright as the others, installed a switch, and somehow the capacitors in the inverter blew up, so I installed an upgraded inverter) Some of the pictures are blurry from far away because the light were bright and the camera could not get any definition
Here are the pictures, I've also added in the last pic: for some reason we had 4 cougars in my parking lot and one around the corner.

I don't know. When they get too bright they just don't look classy anymore.

They look like the close up's... the camera couldn't get it, how it looks, because they were too bright.

i am gettin 8000k hid's and i was planning on getting the demon eyes from CC. but now im wondering whether or not that would be the best idea. The ones that you have installed-are those blue? and do they come in white?

Yes, they do come in white. Problem is, no one sells them anymore! Check out my avatar to see a pic of them on my car. I also have some other pictures of them. If you or anyone happens to find some, please post. I'd like some backup's just incase. Thanks

Price for the whole project? price ranged please... and possibly a link to some wort of how to!

The price once you actually purchase 4 rings plus s/h and then some wiring to run them, plus a switch to turn them on and off, you are looking at about $30.00. Then maybe 8 bucks more if you are going with the red ones, because supposedly the red ones look more pink then red so you have to buy a stain glass kit in order to make them more of a red then a pink color. Definately one of my favorite mods that I have done so far. Gets you alot of attention. when you are hanging out at a meet at night.
I would go this route anyday, before I would go the route of buying the umnitza ones from customcougars. Same exact thing basically, and if you break one or messone up you aren't up a creek by $150.00.

8000k! Wow. Just remember the higher you go the bluer the color, but you lose light output. I generally wouldn't go higher than 6000k. If you go to umnitza.com (http://www.umnitza.com) there are alot of options there. If you go into the group buy (http://fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=15&threadid=112441) section there is alot of good stuff there.

No. But i think if there white you can get away with them maybe. THey most likely full under the law, You can not project any blue and/or red lights!

I'm doing mine and since I dont have Foglights anymore I'm wiring them into the old wiring for that should work just great I think.

debating whether or not i'm going to be doing this yet as i'm getting aussies but i was going to wire them into my fog light wires as well

No, but if you put a switch on them you can turn them on and off when ever you want. Like at a Show or meet! ;)

they look good and way way friggin bright, only problem is doesnt it kinda defeat the purpose of have angel eyes if you cant even tell they are rings??? or like you said maybe its just think picture.

You can see the rings just fine, if you see the close up where you can see the definition of them, that is also how they look further away. The camera could not focus because they were soo bright so it looks like a blue glow with NO definition to the rings.

I think that the problem that the far aways look so bright is that the camera is adjusting for it being so dark around the car and makes them seem brighter than they are. The close up willn't be doing that. I have a feeling that they are about as bright as the ones that are on BMWs and the like.

actually if you want you can create your own in any color you want if you are willing to put he time and money in to it. i saw a tut on how to bend ccfl lights a while ago, ( im also in to computer modding)
basically all you would need to do is ges some straight ccfl tubes and heat them up slowley with a hand torch and bend them around a jig pretty simple then you can get a stain glass kit and stain them the color ou want and finally wire them up.all total probably about 25 dollars and some time , but you do have a custom light set up.
