can any one take the back of a silver cougar and take off the third brake light cover and no spolier and painted tail light covers.

I really like it but my dad said something about how it would not pass state inspection if it was covered up

same thing with the reflectors covered on your tail lights :tongue:

I have the tail light covers and it passed inspection with no problems
However there is no excuse for the brake light its the law every car must have a 3rd brake light.
