Well for the handful of you that knew I got an interview with Boeing in Seattle..
I got the job!
So, depending upon when they want me to start (probably right after I graduate) I don't know if I'll be able to make it to cougarfest with everyone :(
Hopefully I can fly out for a couple days if nothing else
driving from seattle probably won't be an option
hopefully i'll be able to transfer to the boeing in st louis within a few years because I know I will miss all my friends
anyways.. perhaps a going away effingham bash will be in order

AWESOME.... When I was in Seattle we toured that plant... it was a great experience... Good Luck and if you ever wanna fly me out to visit you, go for it.. I LOVE SEATTLE! super jealous mang.. whatcha gonna do for Boeing?

Hey, congrats on the new Job Tad! I thought for a moment you were going to the headquarters here in Chicago...

Sorry to see you moving out of state though... I'll be in Seattle for a couple days in July...

i'm gonna be working in the production engineering and technology department
crispy.. which plant did you tour?.. there are several in the area
reagan.. i might be out there by then.. which days?

I wish you the BEST of luck in Seattle. It is a wonderful city...even it is never sunny!

i will be leaving whenever they tell me to
i have to get pre-employment clearance (background check, drug test, etc.) first
after i get all that done then i will know more

well it's all about perseverence and ambition..
doing something every day to get closer to having a good job
nearly every day (that i could) i either polished up my resume more or applied to another place..
or went to a seminar (my school offers lots) and tried to network and make connections with people to help me land a good job
all that hard work finally paid off for me

i would like to hijack tad's thread and state i got another job this week as a marketing consultant.... so i stuff envelopes. But this means i will have cash to mod come this summer...end hijack
