Bent my rim!

Grrr... driving home from work i hit this pothole, ending up w/ a shaky car. I get home (was almost home) and inspect my tire, my rims' fn bent. So! What kinda of price could i get for 3 17" rims and 4 stock tires w/ 15,000 still left on em? I'll get a pic up tommorrow later it's too dark now.

that sucks. i think a rim or two on my car is bent. it shakes at like 65mph, but doesnt when it is higher or lower. lol

bah, a bent rim is nothing, my two fronts cracked in several places on the way to work a few weeks back. didn't hit anything or drive up onto anything, they just cracked and let all the air out. stoopid wheels.

megail... ouch man, fell apart! i think i read you got those from wheelmax correct? i'll stay away from those.

oh man thats like the worst to say the least. Im still searching for a place that will fix my rims..i cracked one and scuffed the other one pretty bad from an accident. If you ever find a place or know a place thatll fix em for a good price lemme know cause i want my rims back on my car a.s.ap. thanks

those don't look too bad. a plastic mallet might bend it back. my stock ones looked like that when i bouht the car, if you see em now you'd never know.

oh wow, how'd you pull that out, i think i'm gonna get em balanced for now, i'm sure it can be fixed but i'd rather have new rims! they would look so much better on someone elses car, hell, i'm still driving it... i gotta! only car.

I guess it looks so high cause them tires are so skinny..I like the rims tho..mine are similar but aluminum..I think im going gun metal tho

dude where is everyone at cause i am in delaware and my brother fixes rims for a living he is off a couple weeks but if u wanna ship down when he gets back to work im sure he will give ua gd deal to fix them

I just got my 18s and I know I'm in line to bend one next...especially considering how crappy the roads are around where I live.

Yeah i hit a curb on the stock rims and scalloped a chunk off the drivers front tire 6 months ago. the tires were bald, so i just got new ones. then i heated up the rim a little and pounded it back into place. but it wasnt that bad, since the tire took most of the damage.

that's what amazes me, i bent the rim but the tire was fine... i dunno, the guy from a local car forums works at firestone and says these tires suck, they're flimsy and i guess that's why ford put em on, so the tire would blow before you bent the rim.. guess not
