Mainly I need to know what would be a good amount to order. Im planning on doing the trunk, floor, and side panels. Basically all that can be done.

2nd question - To all you crazy interior modding people, whats the best way of getting up the carpet? Will I have to reglue it again when Im putting it back?

Anyone have any suggestions that has done it to this car or another?

Thanks!

As far as the sound deadening goes, in my old camaro I used the spray stuff with a semi thick coat and did the entire trunk with one can. Stuff is kind of messy and a bit expensive but it did the job great! Also I am not sure if there is any weight difference between the two. Just another option for ya;)

i dont think the carpet is glued...i could be wrong though....

pretty sure once you pull out the centre consule and the seats the carpet should just lift out....

the spray stuff would be easiest for your panels and trunk...it will even work pretty good on the floors aswell...

one last question, anyway to stop the main rearview mirror from rattling?

The carpet isn't glued down. It is held down by the center console, and some clips under the plastic door entry pieces. The only problem that I had was getting the carpet out from under the middle of the dash. So i just cut a small piece of the carpet, to make it easier for me to get it out. You would never see that piece unless you take the interior apart to look for it. It is pretty simple, and I did what you want to do. I ordered the FATPACK from FATMAT.com. I did the entire interior, including trunk, hatch, floor, doors, side panels, and roof. I also have some left over. I notice a difference in sound, but now I am used to it and I think it could be quieter!;) Hope this helps.

that mirror will rattle no mater what....it is made to swivle therefore it has a pivot point that isnt tight nor can you tighten it= lots of pretty circles behind you.

another thing is that stuff is gonna a crap load of weight to your car...like probaly close to a hundred pounds, covering that much area..since that is the case you might as well sell me your headers at a nice price and then go turbo to pull that tank around...heheh

average car our size 100sq ft will cover from front to back. including under the hood the full door and the full trunk including hatch, floor is real easy todo. I order 50sq ft off of ebay for like 62.00 shipped really good deal.

get the spray stuff, weighs close to nothing and works great. My trunk is stripped and when I used it, got rid of rattling and exhaust loudness
