I would recommend for you to skip the Brullen Y pipe. Personally, I got one, and regretted it. And it was hell to get rid of. I didn't notice *any* power gain, plus, it had some awful whistling noise in it. The construction was a little questionable from a performance perspective as it didn't have smooth bends, but was numerous straight sections that were angle-cut and welded together to make a bend. Kind of odd. Personally, I felt gyped with the whole transaction.

was it the one with the equal length runners? i thought that was supposed to be one of the better y-pipes?

Yeah, it was that one. In my opinion, I don't think it was all it was cracked up to be. That's JUST my opinion though. Apparently some other people had better experiences. At a minimum, that shows a quality control issue I guess.

I might try optimizing my stock one. I just thought if I could buy one and save time. Does anyone know if CTA still sells optimized stock ones? I would buy the MSDS Headers & Y-pipe but I just don't want to spend that much money on the Cougar. I have my eye on 04 Cobra!

CTA never sold optimized y-pipes. What Chris does, is send you to his exhaust shop and they'll optimize your stock y-pipe for you. I don't remember the price and I know it takes a few hours to do.

Current rate is $120.00, cash, to get the y-pipe optimized at the shop that I use.

I just wanted to add....if you are looking for the Brullen Y-Pipe....why not just get it at Brullen? They aren't far from Ajay.

Brullen is no more, as they closed their doors to manufacturing automotive exhaust systems. (from my understanding)

I'll see, I'm putting on a MagnaFlow Cat this week so I'll decide if I want to do it myself or take it to your shop Chris. On a nother note Chris, I will be cutting one of your Single Exhaust Systems to make it a Dual Exit!
