Get the Mazda 3...that's all I can tell you...

The car has a great build quality overall, and looks sweeeeet too. The best you can do is shop around, and you'll find the price ya like.

yea go with the 3. You can pick one up for around $13000 at places like Wayne Mazda or East Coast Mazda in North Jersey.

The new Mazdaspeed Mazda 6 is a 2.3L I4 Turbocharged, AWD, 6 spd manual...it's ok, not as great of a design as I had hoped for. I'll stick with my STi for now.

The 3.0L V6 is not turboed from the factory, and according to mazda, it more than likely never will be. The 3.5L duratecs are on the horizon.

That is the longest run-on sentence I've seen in a while... :)

Hehe it's ok I just couldn't help myself but comment on that I was just working on my WW2 website (see my sig if you're interested) so I was very much in the "gramatically correct" mindset when I visited the forums and saw your post so I could not help but notice the lack of punctuations it's ok I don't mean to offend or anything oh my I forgot my punctuations also with this run-on sentence :)
