Hi Guys,

2 years ago I had a problem with the MODULE for switching from Lower Intake Manifold into Upper, when revs are over 4.000 rpm (The small part with a cord under the front engine cover with 2.5 V6 written).

I have replaced, all was ok. But now, after 2 years when I load my car too much (a few full and long lasting accelerations) then the Upper Intake Manifold stops to work again. I have to restart my engine.

Do you know, what could it be ? Did you have similar problem ?

Thanks.

Greetings,

Michal

Just so you know the proper term for what your having issues with is IMRC (intake runner manifold control ) box

This box controls the opening and closing of the Secondary Runner Bufferflies located in the Lower Intake Manifold (LIM)

The IMRC fix is a good thing.
