Messin' with a PT

The other night I was heading out to my girlfriends house when I saw this white PT Cruiser with exhaust and looked like Euro taillights? and Wire wheels.. I thought it was funny as hell. I followed it to this stoplight and It had been raining a little for the first time in awhile and I got beside it and Revved a little and was doing some wheel spins.. Which was crazy cuz I was barely touchin it. It took off and I didnt even hammer down.. I just gave it a little gas and I started catching up and then I just got on it and left him in the dust... I just thought it was pretty funny playin and laughin at this PT cruiser.. (We never got too far above the speed limit) I just love messin with these little cars.. until another car later that night pulled up beside me...

It was a Blacked out SVT focus.. Nice as hell.. I turned up my system on the same station he was playing (he was with his wife or something) and I took off normal.. and all the sudden.. *PSH*..VRRM* PSH*... holy hell.. he took off so damn fast. I love the sound of that turbo.. I didnt even try to keep up.. It was a pretty badass car.. I was tryin to catch up to see if he wanted to race somewhere, but he turned off too soon.

i dunno, i'm thinking maybe the focus is s/c'ed too...

n/m i'm dumb, they have neither... so that must have been a one off focus

ive always wanted to see a turbo focus.

Watch out for some of the turbo'd pt cruisers though. Theres a guy in town with one that is fast as hell.

Im sorry but that sounds like a 16 year old ricer story. You were revving at him and spinning your tires and then raced on wet ground which is just plain stupid. Then you turned you system up next to the focus? :rolleyes:

And you guys do know you can put a turbo on a car that didnt come with one right? Im guessing thats what this guy with the Focus did.

1) I'm an automatic, so no I wasn't revving my engine at him..
2) haha Yeah i was messin with the guy spinning my tires..
3) We didnt race.

I guess you forgot your original post because you clearly mention doing #1. Being an automatic has nothing to do with anything, you can easily drop it into neutral and rev the hell out of it, or keep your foot on the brake and give it a rev. And when one person takes off then the other person gets on it and passes them im pretty sure that is considered a race. Maybe i made a mistake and you didnt race, after reading it again you might have done what is known as a ricer fly by. It was one or the other.

As a result of tire spinning, my RPM's were going up.. ( revving ).. You can call it whatever ya want man.. I was just havin a little fun with a PT cruiser.. lol :) If what i did was a "ricer-flyby", so be it.

I read it but either way racing in the rain is just stupid. I dont know what the speed limit was, but suppose it was 45 and beings he didnt go too much over it lets say they took it to 55. No racing is 100% safe but racing in the rain at any speed could have serious consequences.

I agree, I was the same way, all it takes is 1 time man. If you ever start street racing and come anywhere near death or even a wreck.. I promise you, you'd take it to the track.

Why were you looking to race the SVT? All it takes is 1 time man.
