My passenger side headlight keeps burning out, this is the third headlight that has blown in the past year, what could be causing this problem?

A little more info will help solve your isse faster.

Do you have any kind of HO stereo?
Are you using Silverstars?
If not, what brand headlights are you using?
Any other major electrical draws in the car?

could have just been faulty bulbs. pick up some silverstars, they seem to work good for me.

I had te street glow bulbs that you have and they don't last very long at all. I think I blew 3 bulbs in like 2 months. Just get a different set of bulbs and you should be all right. I bought some really cheap xenon bulbs off ebay (2 sets of lowbeams for $6) and they are just as bright as the street glow bulbs and they are still working after 1 1/2 years. Hope this helps.

SilverStars are the way to go. I had them in my first car and now the Cougar and i have NEVER blown one!!!! Thats a total of three years... Still going strong!

you need to make sure your not touching the bulb it self with your fingers the oil from skin will cause the bulb to over heat and burn out if you do touch it just wipe it with alcohol

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? I know mine used to flash the headlights until i took it in and had the wires on the switch relay isolated. I burned out a set of silverstars in like 3 months.

do your headlights flash along with your parking lights? if so your alarm needs to be relay isolated from the headlight switch. i'll talk with the guy that fixed mine if you neeed any info, i have the viper two way responder so our gotta be similar.
