Same thing happened to me in College. My cat never came back, but I think it was because someone in the apartment complex took her in and kept her. Usually they come back as soon as they get hungry, thirsty, or cold.
Sorry to hear that, Don. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

i have been leaving food out every night and the food is gone in the morning. set a box trap yesterday and caught a cat today but it was not my cat and it was one mean S.O.B. going to set it again and hope i catch my cat this time. i also put out fliers around town and put a $100 reward for his return. so if my neighbors have him they will most likely give him back.

Really? How many wives do you have
I've never had a cat. I wish Janelle was around cuz that dumbass lets her house cat get loose every day! She could tell you. It sucks when your animals get lost, but out dogs always come back. They need food at some point. That's why I always make sure they have a name tag with my phone number on it. Good luck!
