As of February 2006 I will be a resident of Arizona.
I was wondering what the laws are out there for Neons and window tint?

No neons allowed on outside of car. You can have led window washer fluid lights if they are white or yellow. As for tint, you can have as dark as you want except for driver and passenger window. I don't know which shade % is allowed. Just ask the local shops when you get here.

LED window washer lights are illegal as well, but only while the car is in motion. You can have neons and other lights on if the car is parked. A few different cops have told me this. I have 4% limo tint all around (except for the windshield) and I typically drive around with my windows down! :) Go with what Byrd said. Ask the shops when you get here about the driver and passenger side windows...

I believe the darkest you can go on the driver and passanger windows is 35%. What Byrd and Greg said, I also agree with.

That kinda sucks, I guess I'll be stripping out all the neon.

Now wait, do you mean interior neon legality? If so, thats fine. I've yet to hear anyone complain about that.
I'm not sure about extrior neons. Is it one of those "Can you see the bulb" kinda things? What color is your existing neon? If its like green or something, I may consider chancing it. Now if its blue or red, well that I know is illegal. I wouldn't even try it with blue or red.
Just be careful if your Air/Fuel gauge shows any blue. Byrd, you wouldn't know anything about that, would you?
I would keep the neons, but just have it on a switch, and just keep it off when you drive across town. I don't think anyone cares if you have them on in a parking lot.

Just leave them on the car! Make sure you DO NOT drive with them on, no matter what color they are...
