It's gonna depend alot on the muffler you're running.

Every set of duals sounds different, depending on whether you have stock manifolds, gutted precats, headers, stock Y-pipe, aftermarket y-pipe, stock cat, hi-flow cat, no cat, exhaust diameter, type of muffler, number of muffler(s), resonators or no, size and length of resonators, single exit tips, dual exit tips, resonated tips, ... whatever. There's a bazillion and one different combinations and variables.

I had a CAI and dual exit 2.5" exhaust with a single Flowmaster muffler, and I wanted to shoot myself in the face every time I started the car. It sounded like a plane.

I will be using the same setup once I get dual resonators for it, and maybe a different muffler. I just don't think I'm Flowmaster material.

That said, I am runing a stock exhaust with a Flowmaster in place of the stock muffler right now. It sounds good, but performance is so-so on the stock pipe and resonator.
