while surfing ebay (say it - I have no life), I found this:

reportedly from a 94 Ford Modeo (England)
here's the item link if you prefer that:

Crispy should finish her RHD conversion this weekend and I think James Howard did the conversion also.

I see subtle differences between that console and mine (besides the RHD). What is that vent at the side of the brake boot and what is in place of the cup spiller?
Pointless mod? Aren't mods a personal expression?

it's not a vent... its a coinholder... and instead of the cup spiller they got a pen holder...

I heard that James Howard tried to import a Cougar... apparently he couldn't because there was no crash data on file... so he built his own.
Center drive like the Alpine Mini would be killer.....

center drive would be almost impossible and be able to drive the car at all. Remember our exhaust runs through that tunnel in the floor. Also, if RHD is so pointless, why is it whne I go to a NOPI, HIN, or Drift competition, everyone goes nuts over RHD. I think its something interesting and believe me, it isnt an easy thing to do.

I agree I was there for a day while James was doing his RHD conversion and let me tell you. It was fun to watch and help a little and I witnessed just a little part on how difficult this is.

Come now, you know damn well that statement makes no sense what-so-ever. It is pointless, and the only reason people "go nuts" over it is because its unique. Fine and dandy for a trailer queen, but it has absolutely 0 use for a daily driver, and actually makes things MUCH more difficult. I've owned two RHD cars now, just think of how difficult it makes it to go thru a drive-thru, or to an ATM, or thru a toll-booth. I ended up parking the cars more than I drove them, because its just that annoying.
Although, it is funny to see peoples faces on the road. :P
Still, if it doesn't make me go faster, or make my car lighter then it is pointless to me.
