Where can i get a chip for the cougar? what does it cost? How much will hp increase about?

What you just did was very annoying. ALL of the questions you asked have been covered multiple times. Obviously you didn't even make an attempt to search to find information. You'll find if you search before you start a new thread that has been covered 1,000,000,000,000 times you'll get your question answered much faster.
The SEARCH button is the key! Use it!

Something else to keep in mind: You don't have to make a new thread for each individual question. You should of just made one post with all three questions you just posted...erm...i mean you should group all your questions in one post after you've performed a search.
Please do yourself a favor and prevent future newbie mistakes by watching this tutorial (http://www.trials-shack.co.uk/posting.html).

You haven't given us enough information to answer your question. Is your cougar a V6 or I4? ATX or MTX? What year is it? By using the Search feature, you would find all the answers to your questions without invoking the ire of the rest of the board.
We're not trying to dissuade you from frequenting these forums. We only ask that you do a basic search to find the information you're looking for. These forums have been around since 1999. It's a pretty safe bet that any question about your car you might have, someone has already asked it.
Posting your question in the proper forum also helps. This thread, for example, either belongs in 2.5L Duratec Performance or 2.0L Zetec Performance (depending on which engine you have). You're more likely to get the help you need if you post the question in the proper place.
