I just recently received my new CR1 seats with sliders for my car. I was wondering, for those of you with CR1's and sliders, do you sit high in the seat. I feel like my head is going to hit the roof and shifting feels very weird. I dont know if its b/c I have to get use to it or what. I was just wondering.

If you use the brackets from Corbeau you should have no problem with the height. Im about 6' 1'' and I have the extenders on my brackets (which raise them a little more) , and I feel just fine.

Thanks for the responses. I think I just have to get use to them. Im only 5'6" but I have short legs and an average upper half. When I sit in the seat I only have about 2" above my head and yes Im using the sliders for the Contour. When I had the stock seats I use to have them all the way down. This is just different for me I guess.

and this is why I hate aftermarket seats.......I am just getting mine reupholstered. I'm 6'2" and I had my seats (not corbeau) in and I might as well of stuck my head out the sunroof. OH and by the way Nemesis thanks for answering my pm.

well, you could always just do what Mcon99 from MCneco did - and bolt the racing seat to the stock motorized seat rail... that was pretty f'n sweet...

How do you get the air bag light to stop flashing after taking out the seats?
