Cougar prices now a days?

So I've been looking at prices for cougars off and on for awhile. Possibly next year after the current project is done i might pick one up and go all out on it.. Just wondering a few things. I've been out of the cougar spot light for about a year and a half now I believe.

How much has it changed/evolved?
How much are used Cougars going for? What i've seen around is 4,000 - 10,000.


Alot of this depends on if I get a shop somewhere. Just gauging interest/information.

a good 99 will run ya about $6k. i myself have been doing the same just for fun though, i found a fully loaded black one 5 speed with 76k on it for $6600 and i talked him down.

you can find them for between 4000 and 7500 for 99 and up some projects requiring work can be had for 1-2g's like the on 1badcat is sellign right now with minor engine problems and no dash for 2g's

There is a white 99 cougar on corner of walton and josyln in auburn hills for sale for $4500. It's right across the street from where I live. It seems to be in good shape.
