Hello,
I just traded a 96 Eclipse RS for a 2001 cougar, white 2.5 duratec,mtx, leather, alpine 6 cd changer, dual cd 220 watt headunit with motorized face, 8 inch powered bazooka tube, sunroof, all the bells and whistles. So far Iv'e installed K&N high flow filter and motor craft platinum plugs as well as some pinstriping. I live just outside of Asheville and love taking the cougar thru the local twisties. The car looks like new and I am very impressed. I have only driven Japanese sports cars so an American sports coupe is a big departure for me. I have had cars with a faster low end but the handling mid range and high end rock. I have learned much from the forums and I am looking forward to meeting some fellow enthusiasts from the Carolinas.
