I bought a LCD screen from Dante and i tried asking him what to do but he refused to reply back to my emails/PMs

This plug is DIN which means it caries audio/visual/power Can I just cut the end off and wire everything like to RCA plugs and have one cord for power and one for ground and hardwire those? I cut a section away of the wire housing for visual aid

There are 6 wires within the wire housing
Yellow (biggest)
orange
red
brown
black
and then there is just a bare wire running through it

So how would I do this? Which wires mean what? thank you

the plug looks like s-video! 95% sure it is s-video! It replaces the yellow, red and white RCA cables!

hmm..Yeah..I'd say contact them. because unless you know what each of the wires do, and know what ppin they're conenected to, i'd see about aquiring an adaptor from them.

Umm... no... careful. The Yellow RCA cable is video. The Red and White RCA plugs are still audio. S-Video has NOTHING to do with audio.

FYI...

Don't forget power and ground are integrated in there as well...

Yes, I know. I am just trying to figure which wire is which. I know it looks like S video but S video doesnt carry power or audio. Its more of a keyboard plug than anything else.

I would contact Pyle and Dante. Dante is a good guy, I'm sure he is not "refusing" to reply back to your PMs. Pyle's PLVHR5IR (http://www.pyleaudio.com/manuals/PLVHR5IR.pdf) (Manual in PDF format) shows that it uses a similar connection, in which they have an adaptor cable. I would not recommend splicing the connectors onto the end as those wires are so fine they will most likely break even if you did get it to work properly that way. So check with Dante to see if he has the cable and/or contact Pyle and see if you can get one from them.

looks like my audiobahn one that I extended... take the unit into BestBuy and look at the mouse cords... I'm 100% positive thats what it is... I wouldn't cut it off and wire it any other way...
