Anyone try or have this (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=productdetail.asp&p=6544&N=120+4294924500+4294923354+306544) Ford Racing Transmission cooler? I just purchased it today and am curious about how good it is. Any ideas on it? Thanks guys.

Looks just like my B&M, so I guess they will be equally as good.

Not bad... its not going to be good enough to bypass the stock cooler in my opinion though. Added inline to the existing filter would give a nice drop in temps though.

BTW... 16.3 in the 1/4... thats not bad.... I couldnt dip into the 16's with my car when it was an ATX... I had similar mods except the y-pipe... hrmmm...

Alright cool, according to the description on summit racing it seemed decent. Hopefully it does its job and keeps my tranny nice and cool.

The 16.3 was run with the trubendz duals, SHO Shop Ypipe, AEM intake, SVT UIM and TB, and the custom burned Superchip and a track weight of 2910, but also in 89 degree temps with massive humidity. I have since added Ford Racing Wires and done a bunch of maintenance stuff at 55K miles(autolite double plat plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, coil pack). Hopefully with a little more weight reduction, throwing my stock 15's back on(ran with my 17's), my new mods(waiting on delivery of GMK extension and tranny cooler), as well as headers possibly, a 15 second run will be possible. My goal is at least a few 15.9's before I get the Zex wet kit Ive been dreaming of for the past couple years lol.

i dont think with those mods youd be running high 15's unless its a perfect day outside... if you could with those mods i would pray to you. But a tranny cooler is on my list of car to-do's and i either plan on going with this one or the B&M
