The boards have been pretty boring lately - thought I'd try starting something.
What do you do for Valentine's Day?
Jeff and I are probably the most unromantic type - we don't usually buy into these holidays, shoot we don't really do anything for our anniversary either (Kauai counts this year for it :) ). BUT one of the companys his does business with throughs this Valentines dinner every 2 years, so then we celebrate it. Free drinks, lots and lots of good free food, prizes, dancing (I think) at LaMalfa in Mentor. 2 years ago we got a room there so we could drink all night and not have to worry about driving :beer: this year no such luck... plus we have the dog at home!
That is, in the hopes that you have a sweetheart to share it with... if not I have a now single sister ;)

Drink a toast to the lucky ones (like my sister & her husband :thumbsup: or Slade :rofl: ) and curse the weekend long binge of lovey-dovey googly eyed insufferable couples who fill up the restaurant waiting areas.
Maybe two or three toasts ;)

just for the hell of it, maybe get drunk... i dunno yet. i have this girl, but... i dunno what's going on quite yet.
Patrick and I are going to dinner with his parents for Valentines Day.
Then I dunno.

Working on plans for relaxation! But man I have been too busy to get stuff.

We aren't much for celebrating, so we oribably won't be doing anything out of the ordinary. Prolly dinner and a movie, and not feel guilty about it.

Well, think me and Sarah are going to do dinner and maybe a little somethin somethin, not going to reveal anything else cuz she does read these boards(its also our year mark so it's not only just Valentines Day its a double whammy)

Oh yeah that is right George. You guys started dating right before our first meet ever at Summit. Congrats to you guys:thumbsup:
As for me and my girl thankfully she now has Mondays off, which is the same as me, so I think we will probably go to Cleveland and go to the mall for a while, grab an early movie and then grab dinner at some place nice. Then head home.

As far as what i'm going to do...
My best friend and his wife just had their son about 2 days ago. So i'll probably go see them if they are not too busy making a brother or sister...
Other than that i'll probably just do what i do every year. Sit on my ass and absolutely nothing or maybe go see a movie. And if there is a party going on or something then i'll probably go drink till my conscious is drowned...

OMG! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!!
My best friend and his wife just had their son about 2 days ago. So i'll probably go see them if they are not too busy making a brother or sister...
Just for the record - the girl not supposed to do any bumpin-grindin for 6 weeks after having baby.
Jeff did get a tasty surprise at work today :) Just food!

Lol, i know about the "no sex till further notice" thing with post pregancy. I was just playin.
It's a good thing you added "just food", otherwise i would of thought not so clean minded things...
Oh yeah, i just realized v-day is on monday. So that means all i'm going to do is work, sleep, and then go to my AC/DC class (No...the class is not about the band...)
Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Yeah, didn't think so...

Justin and I are going to do the romantic dinner thing this weekend so as to miss the Valentines day hype! I hate crowded resturants! Hopefully we can just relax and not worry about all of the million things we still need to do before the wedding... 4 1/2 months left....AHHHH! :banghead:

OMG so did I! It's like having a little toddler around - you can't do anything. We're getting a hotel room to spend time together. My mom won't watch the dog overnite since he isn't potty trained yet.

what i do for valentines day all depends on tomorrow. tomorrow is my school's sweethearts dance, and if all goes well (which it seems it will) i will probably ask her out. if i do, then of course we will do something for v-day. i dont know what yet....and i have no idea what to get her either...

The whole dog thing though - I'm a prude when it comes to "stuff" and I really have issues with the dog being in the room... i have a comment regarding room and extra living being in it but I'll skip it ;) ;)

Kimberly and I got an executive suite at the Holiday Inn, because all the whirlpool suites were taken :(
I got her a Tiffany & Co. heart pendant bracelet with her Sorority letters engraved in it. Not too sure what she got me, and it doesnt really matter so long as we get to spend it together.
Kinda weird since this is the first time in my life Ive had a GF over Valentines day.... Im heading out now to buy some roses and stuff, and suprising her tonight at Midnight in her room and then having the pledges give her flowers all day tomorrow :) YAY, I guess I kinda am romantic? Or something like that.
Okay I didnt read the whole thread but if its dirty and talking about lots of sex etc. lets keep it hush hush and do it in PMs or Private Topics. Thanks everyone and Happy Valentines day to all!!

Brooke and I ate an awesome dinner at a nice little place on the beach called Lu Lu's.
Then we went out and I bought her a black tahitian pearl tear drop pendant.
She really liked that.
Afterwards we sat on our 18th floor balcony and drank while we listen to the band play below
and watched the waves roll in. Yeah great place for baby making;)
PS Hawaii was amazing to bad I'm back in Ohio now.
Best Valentine's Day we've ever had I think.
