i have the in-dash 6 and a boss dvd player with a pair visor monitors
is it possible to get the surround sound effect instead of jsut hooking
it up straight left and right

you'll need a Dolby Pro Logic processor of some type.

I recommend the Eclipse 39011, but it won't work with a stock headunit...you'll need something with pre-amp outputs, as well as a 4 channel amp, and a sub amp. The processor has a center channel amp built in to it, so you'd just need to add the center channel.

i got my visors off of ebay new for 255 shipped for a pair of them
and my boss dvd with front av input also new off of ebay for about 125 shipped
