I was thinking wires too, but why would it only happen at 2000k-3500 RPM. If it was the wires wouldn't it happen all the time?

No. I speak from experience.
Here's my deal. If I was cruising at 2000 RPM's or so, and step on the gas, it would FREAK OUT. Buck, stutter, spit, and pop through the intake. If I downshifted and got over 3000 RPM's, it was fine. Likewise, if I accelerated GENTLY, there was no problem. Only when opening up the throttle at less than 2000 RPM's did the problems occur.
Turns out, there was some SERIOUS electrical arcing going on between my spark plugs and wires. In fact, it was blowing the plug wire boots clear off the plugs in some cases. The spark plugs had scars on them from the little explosions, and carbon scoring. The wires were baked, so when I replaced the spark plugs ONLY, they got burned out as well, all over again.
If you have spark problems, replace the plugs AND wires, all at the same time, and be sure to coat the porcelain part of the plugs with a hefty dose of dielectric grease, to insulate and seal.

Okay... speaking from experience, cause I actually have a stutter... it's spelt s.t.u.t.t.e.r.
I agree that the easiest thing to check first is plugs and wires, and duff those copper plugs. If plugs and wires don't fix the problem, start looking at IMRC.
You might even want to see if Autozone will pull any constant trouble codes that might be in your PCM. See if you have any IMRC stuck closed or o2 indicates lean codes.

Okay, so today it is wet, foggy and raining. If my wires were bad the car should be arcing like crazy and be miss firing right. But it seems to be running better today than on a dry day. I really confused now?

No. The wet thing is a different problem entirely. That is caused when your wires are OLD and the jackets aren't sealed. The wires problem I'm talking about is the boots, and is unrelated to moisture.

Okay Okay, I will give it a try. New plugs and wires.
What are the best wires to get, Stock, Ford Racing, Accel, Magnecore or ViTek?

Stock wires unless you are making insane horsepower.
