absolutely not.
That is your Idle Air Control Valve. You should not place any filter after the MAF. Doing so will allow unmetered air into the engine and will cause your engine to run lean and could risk damage and unpleasant drivability.

well since i have one of these things i wanted to know where i could put it if i could put it anywhere at all, some dude said it would go there but we argued about it so i let him win and i came here :-p thanks,

It wont work due to the MAF. In fact you should replace ANY of the vaccume lines with a breather like that, all because they will allow unmetered air to enter the engine.

I thought you can put that breather filter on the tube on the opposite side of the intake, or just have it come out somewhere under the engine cover.

that would be the correct place however.......its a breather filter meant for venting....but its not used on an engine with a PCV system
