Hi all. Been lurking for a while and thought I'd better say hello.
Picked up my 2.5 MTX Silver Frost a couple of weeks ago and I must say, I'm enjoying every minute :) Thought I'd miss my old VW corrado badly but the Cat makes up for it very nicely.

sure it isn't a 99?? the build date may be in 1998, but the model year is actually 99 ;)

Girl car? No! You turn it into your car!. Unlike the Eclipse or the Cavalier that many call a girl car, I see the cougar as my car and no judge on what sex its for. Def. a blast to build it up! Goodluck. Yah was it supercharged?

Thanks for the welcome guys! Apologies for the delay in replying, been changing job and moving house.
My Corrado was a 1.8 16 valve, we had 1.8 and 2 ltr valvers here in UK aswell as the G60 Supercharged and VR6. She ws getting a bit long in the tooth and a few electrical probs were rearing their heads so I thought it was time to get something with a bit more oomph and modern styling, hence the Cat.
As for the Cat, she was first registered in 1998 so she's a '98
The wife hates the Cat, says she can't see the end of the bonnet or the boot (hood and trunk for the US) She drives a PT Cruiser, say no more!
She also recons it is definetly a mans car, no problem with that, it means she'll never want to drive it :)

It's really a 99 model though. Just like you could buy a 2005 car at the end of 2004. And welcome to the boards!
