oil pumps and bearings

i just tore down my 2.5 today and was wondering if i could use the oil pump off the 2.5 on the 3l. block... not too sure the condition of the 3l one, so i'd perfer using the one off my 2.5

also, are the engine bearings the same (rods and mains) i'd like to buy a clevite 77 engine bearing kit for the 3l block, and would like to know how similar these two engines really are.

why would you wanna use the 2.5L oil pump? you're supposed to use the one that came with the 3L..

The oil pump and bearings are the same.

Why do you think the 3L oil pump is bad? That would likely be a first.
