How do i hook up a air/fuel ratio gauge?

i just got a couple gauges for JennaJ's cougar and i need to hook them up. i know that the red is power and black is ground but the purple goes to the o2 sensor. what one? and what wire do i hook into?

yeah there is a great post out there with pics to follow......just don't go by the color wire that they say for the purple wire. i think they said it was white with a red stripe? but mine was white with a blue stripe
