to answer your questions, yes i know my rims are the hotness ;)
i don't have stock rims anymore (i had to trade them to the person who I bought my 18's from cuz he was selling his car and didn't have stock rims either)...so i inherited these black steelies from him (they are just some wal-mart variety ish i think) with an awesome set of snow tires (kumho i'zen stud) and couldn't be happier. plus, i actually prefer the black steelies to my old stock 15" fan blades....in my opinion, i think it tells other people that i actually have REAL rims waiting to go on in the summer ;)

as far as the headlights go, i painted the insides silver to match the body, and while i was at it, decided to paint the little cups blue (at that time i was seriously obessesed with duplicolour metalcast paint, and everything in my engine bay is painted to match)...however, i think it actually takes away from the look now with the carbon fiber hood on there...can someone try photochopping the headlights back to stock for me? i'm seriously considering swapping them out...

How come some cougars have the Ford symbols on them in the grill? When it is a Mercury Cougar. Is that something ppl do on their own or did some come like that?

Looks good. I think you are right on the headlights rastaman. It kinda takes away from the hood. Your eyes tend to focus on the headlights and not the hood.

I'm pretty sure North America is the only place you'll find the "Mercury" brand name. so everywhere else there's a coug, like, europe and australia got Ford Cougars. there for a good year or so a lot of the neco'ans ordered up the grilles and the badges. ... a year after that all the headlamp and taillamps from the euro's and aussies started showing up. .. so there ya go. it was just a nice change to all of the other copyCATS. :P

its the grill that came on european cougars (they are marketed as fords there since mercury is only a north american brand)...

In Europe the car is sold as the Ford Cougar, so the badges on the front are a Euro thing.....in fact if you ever take any part of your car apart most of the parts have the Ford logo on them.

Hood looks sweet man, and i think it would look much better if you went back to stock looking headlights.

The Mercury badge is the only thing Mercury on the Cougar. Look at your glass on the bottom there is a Ford emblem, check your seat belt tags, Ford there, and take your ashtray out and look on the bottom of it, Ford again.
