Im thinking of doing a full 3L swap to my 99 cougar, couple of questions.

Should i swap any 3L cam components with svt and if so which ones?

Wich year 3L would go best with a 99 coug

Which injectors should I use.

Where can i get the full ford build CD for the duratecs

Where can i get all the iner forged parts from

Should i use SVT LIM and UIM and TB and what all will be needed for these swaps.


sorry if these questions are answered here somewhere i have been looking through threads for hours.

OK Im gonna make this hort and simple.

1. Yes. It would be best to use SVT cams in 3L oval port heads.

2. "Best" would be 2001-2002

3. 19 or 24lb/hr

4. Ebay sells them

5. You dont need forged internals on a non F/I engine

6. I would. They only moddification you will need is to the heads. They will need to be port matched, contact Kinger


Lastly I advise you put ALOT more effort and studying into this project before you even consider it.
