sounds great my unc has a 92 camaro they are really nice i tried to buy it off of him but it wouldnt sell it gl on your camaro project

one of my co-workers has a built LS1 and 6-speed tranny out of an '02 he's trying to sell and he might be interested in getting rid of the rear end too... it was dyno'd at 345hp to the wheels before he wrecked the beast. the engine and tranny are in pristine condition. I'll ask him when I go back into work on tuesday.
Personally, I'd get a 350 or 383 ci crate motor and mate it to a turbo 350 or 400 a/t. those turbo trannies were designed in the 60's... so, yeah, it's old technology but it works. it'll shift quicker than a good driver on a newer 6-spd, and <u>won't break</u>. That's why they were called "rock crushers"
