Arite so november 27 was my birthday..I was driving home around 2:30 a.m. from my friends house down rt. 83 and i was about to cross over an intersection at rt. 83 and rt. 112. Someone in a ford expedition blows the light and made a left onto 112 making the turn at about 35 mph while i was just getting to the light doing about 55 mph. So I slam on the brakes and look to my left and see the trucks headlights. I go out of control and hit the curb up onto a road island and spun out then hit another curb spun around and just missed the guardrail. I got out uninjured but my cougar just said "ughhh." I was shocked about it all and also very pissed. I get the tow truck there cause the car was undrivable. No body damage but as i go to close my car up as the tow truck was coming i went to shut my sunroof and notice it wouldnt shut fully. Thats when i noticed i bent my frame. So i get it to the body shop the next morning and all damages came out to $6,000.00. The car was pretty much totaled but was fixable. So its all fixed, body kit is painted new, the car is painted new, now all i have to get is new rims since the curb cracked both of them. The car is now fully aligned and looking and riding better then ever. Well just see what insurance has to say about this one :ugh:. well thats my road tale.

Nah I had insurance look at it and tell me how much it was gonna cost and then i realized I had a 1000 dollar deductable. They told me all the things that they were gonna do and its all the stuff I was wanting to get done even before the accident like the body paint job and the body kit paint job and also get my tires rotated and balanced. So i was like w.e for 1000 dollars I can get all the things Iv been wanting done now and cheap. So i got them to do it and the car looks better then ever and rides better then ever. I just have to order 2 more rims cause they are both pretty beaten up. I got some pics ima try to upload onto my computer. They will possibly be shown later tonight or tomorrow.

That sucks! You should have invested in a big brake kit and stickier tires, you might have stood a chance.
I don't really follow what your saying about the insurance and a $1000 deductable custom_images/emoticons/shocked.gif but hope you come out on top.

On my car if anything happens to it that i need to get fixed through insurance i have 1000 dollar deductable which means I gotta pay a max of that towards whatever needs to be fixed if say the damage was over 1000 dollars, but yah im sure if my tires were stickier i woulda had a better chance to swurve around the guy but it all just happened so quick i didnt even notice the road island. But as of april or w.e we get a nice day out here ima put the sideskirts back on my car and hopefully soon get my rims fixed before the nice weather comes
