The Delmarva Cougar Club is pleased to announce the CCOA 2005 East Cougar Nationals, July 8 to 10, at the Hyatt Fair Lakes, in Fairfax, Va. Complete details about this show and online registration with credit card payment are available at:
http://www.dcconline.org/05EastNats
The Fair Lakes Hyatt is conveniently located near Interstate 66, about 20 miles west of Washington, DC. It's a very nice high-rise hotel with lots of parking (they easily accommodated a national Mustang show which attracted 400 cars a couple years ago). We've negotiated a reasonable group rate of $89.00 per night. There are a lot of nearby eating places within a mile of the hotel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the Washington Metro rail system so it's an easy ride to all the Washington, DC, attractions.
We have a class for 99 & up Cougars and wish to extend an invitation to all NECO members to join us at the show. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me directly at president@dcconline.org
Regards,
Jim Karamanis
President, Delmarva Cougar Club

i might be able to make it. i have some cousins that live up that way i could visit while im there too. sounds like a blast!
Sounds great- Don't think I'll win any trophies for the way my car looks... But I may be in the running for the "Things done to your Cougar that the manufacturer never intended" prize... ;)
Fair Lakes is only 20 minutes from where I live... Sweet...

Still not convinced? David Tom of Apache Junction, Arizona will be attending the show with his authentic Bud Moore engineered 1967 Trans Am Cougar. This car served as the "mule" vehicle for testing at Virginia International Raceway in preparation for the 1967 Trans-American Sedan Championship (Trans-Am) and was driven in the Trans-Am series by racers such as David Pearson, Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones, Ed Leslie and Peter Revson. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see a piece of Cougar racing history up close!
If you have questions or comments, please contact Show Chair and Delmarva Cougar Club President Jim Karamanis (president@dcconline.org, 571.221.8678).

We will be accepting car registrations at the show in Fairfax, VA, up to the morning of Saturday July 9, but if you're thinking about attending the show, you can save $10 off the registration cost by registering on or before June 1. Online registration is easy and our website links directly to the hotel. Right now we have about 80 Cougars pre-registered, but we'd like to see a bigger variety of years represented, and that includes the latest Cougar. Hope to see some of you at the show.
