Stupid CRX

I was driving around yesterday, and found some primered CRX driving around. I got next to him and he begins to rev his engine. Out of no where I hear a huge bang, and his car backfired about 3 times in a row. I Couldnt help but laugh my ass off.

one time at a subaru meet at one of our buddies shops, who of course owns a subaru, a stage4++ wrx did an insane awd burnout...ok the story doesn't stop there or it'd be really lame.....well there's a shop across the street that speicalizes in rx-7's and supras and they were havin a meet too...so "not to be outdone", they take the shop's 10 second rx-7 out to the street to "outdo" our bud's burnout....well...he gets on it and we hear this loud as all hell snapping sound....next thing ya know, the car starts smokin...keep in mind this was at a meet so there were prolly 70 or so subaru people takin pictures/watchin...the guy who was drivin the rx-7 just runs back to the shop embarassed as hell and 5 or 6 guys end up pushin the car about a quarter mile back to the shop...it was classic...sooo funny...turns out they blew the tranny....it's not that funny readin it now that i've gone back over it haha....guess it's kinda one of those things where it's much funnier had you been there

You saw the car so im not disputing this one was a POS, but popping exhaust doesnt always mean its a POS. A local guy has a civic hatch that backfires like crazy and i saw him put down a 11.6 at the track so id hardly call that a POS, and yes it was the 1/4 not the 1/8th.

My best friend has a crx thats primered half black (he never got around to finishing it) with a built b18, and i'd bet he can bet 95% of the cougars on this board. Its great going to ocean city in the summer and beating preludes and civic si's.

mine has backfired once.... I hit my rev limiter and it for some reason backfired.

i've had mine backfire on occasions, such as when i first slapped on my exhaust it let out a huge backfire and i was like wtf, omfg!

hmm, i just thought of this post today... i got behind a cobra who was hauling ass and just wanted to see how much he'd own me, surprisingly my car felt like it pulled some balls out of it's butt and started hauling, it also backfired this time, something it hasn't done in a while

It's kinda weird, my car just opens up every so often when it feels the need

edit: oh yea, i lost the cobra once he started hitting what i assumed to be triple digits

Ask ROZWELL911CSVT, my car not only gets nice exhaust pop when running hard, but between the 1-3 shift (Since my tranny lost the 1-2 solenoid and OD) it likes to spit twin flames when it pops. :rofl:
