Kid and his p.o.s. Buick!

Happened new years eve.....Just driving down a 4 lane with my friend lookin for something to do...some kid comes by with with an older buick century or something not really sure..He slows down so I look at him an hes got 3 girls in the car with him, he decides to try to get me to race by speeding up an slowin down next to..So I just eased into the pedal in 5th gear, takes a little while to get ahead of him but finally I just start pulling away an get about a mile in front of him.. Couple mins. later he comes up next to me again, we take off some where around 63 mph, I kept it in fifth until he started to get about a half car length away, drop it into 4th at about 90 mph an watch him dissapear in my mirror lol....about another 5 mins. down the road im at a stoplight an he pulls up next to me again and starts reving his engine up so I started lauphing at him, I was turning right but I dont think he knew I was the light hits green and he floors it barely churping the tires.....I simply turn to the right and watch a cop car fly out of a parking lot and take off towards the kid..anyways thought it was pretty funny.. I would hate to get beat with a bunch of girls in my car and then end up getting pulled over....:)

lol, nice. i raced a civic in my room mates buick park avenue, i think i won. not sure if he was racing though but than again neither have much power, but it was kinda ricey. i pwned it w/ my cougar on the freeway, buslengths worth

I think the best type of race is when you beat someone when they are trying to show off to their girl/girls.

yeah I beat my friend in his mitsush***y eclipse rs I think. He came up and had his window rolled down and said "slow". So naturally when the light turned green I owned him and his girl was on his car too. haha.

Nice kill... only memory i have racing a buick was about a year ago i was cruising around with my best friend in a 1997 candy-apple red Z28 convertible camaro. He had some buick century and he had a girl and some guy with him and we had the top down. He pulls up and starts revving his engine and the light turned green and he chirpped and thats it. We sat there holding the brake and slamming the gas and burned rubber for about 2 secs then flew by him. MAN his was pissed cuz we gave him a 2 sec head start and blew past him by the 3 second. it was funny. And in my cougar i love taking guyz down with their girls with them... its so funny

oh... BTW the camaro is my best friend's grandmas car. my friend only has a grand am but we take out the camaro and mess with cars... its fun and the car is pretty fast. it has a 'vette engine and i'm not to sure if it has mods or not... possibly tho cuz it stayed up with another z28 with over 9grand worth of mods... like 7grand was performance mods... and the z28 we cruise is a auto

Buicks....reminds me of a story, too....
About 6 months ago, my dad and my uncle raced. It was an odd site to see two middle-aged men street racing. My dad driving a 2000 Mustang GT, and my uncle, dressed for business (district supervisor for Pizza Hut) driving a supercharged 98 Regal. It was a good jump off the line, but the Mustang ultimately won. Wish I would've had a video camera...:(

Yeah, to me, it was completely unexpected. I laugh about it now when I think about it. Definitely something you don't get to see everyday.
